This meeting is concurrent with the 2010 Spring Conference at West Chester University.

• Meeting called to order at 4:25pm.
  Present: Bloomsburg -- Bob Montante (very late) ; California -- Lisa Kovalchick ; Clarion -- Soo Kim ; East Stroudsburg -- James Emert ; Kutztown -- Yong Zhang ; Lock Haven -- Susan Strayer ; Millersville -- David Hutchens ; Shippensburg -- Dave Mooney ; Slippery Rock -- Bernie Zhou ; West Chester -- Afrand Agah .
• Minutes from the previous Board meeting were unavailable.
• The Treasurer's report showed a balance of $7992.65.

  East Stroudsburg reported that they have a new chair, and a new building. The growth of the treasury balance was discussed. Possible corrections include reductions of dues, increased conference funding, and reimbursements for travel.

• No announcements.
• Conference issues:
  • Advertising on Google was discussed. Costs: 1 cent per click; $5 to set up plus $10 for ...something...
  • West Chester have statistics numbers of hits.
  • PACISE owes West Chester, via Afrand Agah, a check for $1000.
  • Program expenses: department pays for everything.
  • Attendance: 53 faculty registered, 82 students.
  • Twenty different programming teams registered.
  • Paper review issues:
    • 2 - 3 papers per reviewer.
    • 10 - 12 faculty papers; 1 - 2 rejected.
    • 6 undergraduate papers; 3 rejected.
    • 4 posters, all accepted.

  • The Executive Board approved recommending a positive vote to the membership.

  • Shippensburg has no current needs for the 2011 conference.
  • Likely conference date is around April 1-2, 2011.
