• Meeting called to order at 3:10pm.

• This meeting was conducted mostly via videoconference. Agenda, Treasurer's report, and minutes from the previous Board meeting were emailed. Previous minutes approved on voice vote.
• The Treasurer's report shows a balance of $8564.48. Edinboro paid their dues; nothing from Cheney. Approx. $8444 after paying for the last dinner. Membership invoices have been mailed out. The report was approved and accepted on voice vote.
• No announcements.
• Following the usual wildly enthusiastic discussions an officers' slate was drawn for presentation to the general meeting. The slate consisted of:
  • for President: David Hutchens
  • for Vice President: Soundararajan Ezekiel
  • for Treasurer: Susan Strayer
  • for Secretary: Robert Montante
• Dave Mooney reported on conference plans for Shippensburg.
  • 20 reviewers. This appears to be enough.
  • No snags so far, things generally look pretty good.
  • Susan asked about student presentations on Friday for programming team members. Dave expects to do so.
  • Lisa asked about poster presentations, and submission deadlines. Dave is receptive to any submissions. Bob suggested publishing poster abstracts, and using the non-reviewed deadline.
  • A question was raised about linking from the PACISE website. It appears that the website does have a link to Ship's conference webpage. The status of the rest of the website is uncertain.
  • Afrand suggested advertising through Google, as was done for last year's conference. Dave agreeed to look into it.
  • Question about prog. contest judges.
• Website maintenance: SRU is not present to address the status; the topic is deferred until next meeting.
• Conference sites: 2017 is the next open year. However, Edinboro needs to change from 2014. California agrees to take 2014. Edinboro will take 2016, and show off their new building at that time; West Chester will cover 2017 if no one else wants it. They would like to sign up for 2020 in any case. Harrisburg is thinking about 2017 or 2018, although workforce size (2 people) is a concern.
• Conference proceedings: Dave expects to have the Proceedings burned to CD in time for distribution at the conference.
• Other business and discussion:
  • Participant reactions were mixed, as was the degree and quality of participation. There is some consensus that the idea is good, although the mechanics were awkward this time. The next few meetings will be physical.
  • There was some discussion of accreditation. It does not appear to support adequate opportunities for faculty research. A low math requirement was also mentioned as a deficiency. Paul Sible expressed an interest in participating in the BOF at the conference.
• The meeting adjourned at 3:32pm.
