ANADAMA BREAD

 

11 - 11 1/2 cups flour

2 1/2 tea. salt

2 cups yellow corn meal

5 pkg. dry yeast

1/2 cup margarine

4 cups water

1 cup molasses

 

     Raise 2 hours; punch; raise 2 hours.  Place in 4 pans; raise 45 min.  Bake 375' for 35 min.

 

WHEAT BREAD

 

1 cup warm water

3¼ cups warm low-fat milk

4 pkgs. dry yeast

3 tea. salt

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup molasses

1/2 cup margarine, opt.

9-10 cups flour

2 cups wheat flour

 

     Knead; raise 2 hours, punch, raise 2 hours.  Place in 4 pans, raise 50-60 min.  Bake at 400' for 30-35 min.
