CHERRY-NUT FUDGE  Dorothy

 

1/4 cup margarine, melted

1 cup milk

pinch salt

3 cups sugar

1 tab. cornstarch, mix with sugar

3 tab. white corn syrup

     Stir until dissolved at medium heat.  Cook until soft ball stage, 240'.  Then add:

 

1/2 tea. almond extract

1/2 jar marshmallow cream

1/2 cup candied cherries

1/2 cup chopped nuts

     Pour into pan.
