GROUND BEEF AND NOODLES

 

¾ pound ground beef

1 chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

6 oz. can tomato paste or 1 pint sauce*

1 cup water*

¼ tea. chili powder

8 oz. pkg. noodles

ground pepper to taste

    

     Brown meat in skillet; drain off excess fat.  Add onion and garlic; sauté 3 min.  Stir in tomato paste/sauce, water* and chili powder.  Cook noodles as directed; add to skillet.  Add pepper.  Cover and simmer 5 min. or until liquid is reduced to a sauce.  Makes 4 servings.  *If using sauce do not add water.
