CHOCOLATE-AMARETTI PIE CRUST

 

1 stick margarine

5 tab. baking cocoa

1 tab. cream (whipping or coffee)

1 tea. vanilla

1 1/3 cup crushed amaretti cookies

 

     In 2 qt. pan melt margarine, cocoa and cream.  Add vanilla; them amaretti crumbs.

 

GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST

 

1 pkg. plus 3 graham cracker slices

1/3 cup margarine

¼ cup sugar

 

     Melt margarine.  Mix sugar with crushed cracker crumbs.  Add to margarine; mix well.  Use back of serving spoon to press in pie dish.  Bake 350’ for 10 min.

 

GRAPE-NUTS CRUST

 

1 cup Post Grape-Nuts cereal

¼ cup frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

 

     Place cereal in food processor container; cover.  Process until finely crushed.  Mix with apple juice until well blended.  Press onto bottom and up sides of 9” pie plate.  Bake at 350’ for 5 min. or until light golden brown.  Cool completely.
