CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE

 

1 cup light corn syrup

½ cup sugar

¼ cup margarine or butter, melted

1 tea. vanilla

3 eggs

1 cup (6 oz, pkg. chocolate chips)

1½ cups pecan halves

9” pie shell

 

     Cover edged of crust with strips of aluminum foil.  In large bowl combine corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs; beat well.  Place chocolate chips and pecans in bottom of pie crust.  Pour syrup mixture over this.  Place cookie sheet in oven to preheat at 350’.  Bake for 55 to 60 min. or until deep golden brown and filling is set.  Cool completely.  Store in frig.
