SLAW

 

1/2 head cabbage, shredded

1 medium carrot, shredded

1/2 green pepper, julienned

1/2 sweet red pepper, julienned

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 sliced green onion

2 tab. chopped fresh parsley

 

DRESSING

2 tab. milk

2 tab. buttermilk

1/4 cup mayonnaise

3 tab. sugar

1 tab. lemon juice

1 1/2 tea. vinegar

1/4 tea. celery seed

dash of salt

dash of pepper

 

     In large bowl combine slaw ingredients.  Combine dressing ingredients in a blender; process until smooth.  Pour over vegetables; toss to coat.  Cover and refrigerate overnight.  Stir before serving.  6 to 8 servings
