STRAWBERRY GELATIN  Shirley Flink

 

TOPPING

2 to 14 large marshmallows, cut up

½ pint whipping cream, do not whip

3 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese

 

     With spoon, mix together ingredients and let stand for 8 hours or over night, stirring occasionally.  Make gelatin.  Then, using mixer, mix ingredients and spread on chilled gelatin.

 

GELATIN

2 boxes strawberry gelatin

2 ½ cups hot water

1 pkg. frozen strawberries

1 #2 can crushed pineapple and juice*

 

     Make gelatin and put strawberries in while frozen.  Sir until thawed.  Add pineapple and juice.  Chill.  Place on lettuce when serving.  This makes enough for a 9” square dish.  *Shirley uses only 80% of pineapple/juice.
