STUFFED HUNGARIAN PEPPERS  Antoinette Petrillo[VG2C1] 

 

     Stuff peppers with a mixture of grated Romano Cheese, fresh bread crumbs, cut-up hot pepper, parsley, garlic, olive oil, and a dash of vinegar.  Fry, lightly, in oil. Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold with fresh buns.

 

CHEESE STUFFED CHILIES

 

1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup green onion

8 large hot peppers

 

     Cut peppers in half.  Place on foil to grill or bake in a preheated 400' for about 5 min. until cheese melts or brown in butter in skillet.
