CREAMED CELERY AND PEAS

 

1/3 cup water

2 cups celery, sliced

1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas

½ cup sour cream

½ tea. dried rosemary, crushed

dash garlic powder

1 tab. chopped pimentos, drained

¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted

 

     Bring water to a boil over medium heat; add celery; cover and cook for 8 min.  Add peas; return to a boil.  Cover and cook 2-3 min. or until vegetables are tender; drain.  In a small bowl, combine sour cream, rosemary and garlic powder; mix well.  Toss vegetables with pimentos; place in serving bowl.  Top with sour cream mixture.  Sprinkle almonds on top.
